The Macquarie University Incubator Mentoring Program aims to grow the entrepreneurial capacity of Macquarie University Incubator member startups by pairing them with mentors who can provide valuable expertise, support and guidance on their commercialisation journey.
Learning Outcomes include:
• satisfaction of volunteering time to, and supporting the development of others
• satisfaction of transferring skills and knowledge accumulated through extensive professional practice
• enhance mentoring, coaching, communication, and leadership skills
• learn from the mentee’s experience and knowledge
• give back to the Macquarie University Incubator community
• raise personal profile within the entrepreneurial community and enhance the knowledge base
• expand personal networks.
The mentoring sessions are delivered by an array of formats from short single sessions around a specific area of interest, group fireside chats, workshops, or 1 on 1 longer-term relationships.
Once the pairing of mentee and mentor has been completed, the structure of the mentoring relationship will vary depending on what is agreed between the two parties.
