Incubator - Applied Business Modelling

Program description The Applied Business Modelling program is a one-month foundational program where participants learn how to articulate and analyse a business model for a given enterprise, business unit or product line. The program is based on the Business Model Canvas, a tool that allows participants to describe and investigate a business model. The Business Model Canvas is used to investigate the value exchange between the business, its customers and stakeholders and to analyse the structure of the business (robustness, sustainability) in light of this. Learning Outcomes • Quickly and efficiently map a business model for both established and emergent business types (including for-profit and for-impact businesses) • Identify the value/product the business is offering the market and how well the business is designed to deliver this value. • Review the key drivers of costs and revenue for the enterprise. • Articulate the external factors that will have the greatest impact on the success or otherwise of the business model (and any critical areas of risk outside the control of the enterprise) Delivery Details: 4 online modules, two full days of in-person workshops and one in-person pitch event Activities: group work, shared reflections and applying business modelling content to new opportunities in non-hospital healthcare and aged care The volume of Learning is 22 hours.
