Excel to Python for Data Science

The micro-credential will help students familiar with handling data in Excel to prepare data and do basic analysis in Python. Students will get practice on cleaning and ordering large data sets and will use Python to explore data structures, understand how to read common data formats and discuss the use of different data. Learning Outcomes • Understand the reasons to use Python instead of Excel. • Be able to program in Python. • Be able to load, manipulate, and visualise data using Pandas and Numpy. • Be able to automate data analysis with Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
