This microcredential is delivered by career professionals at Macquarie University. The program provides a strong framework for students to develop an understanding of career planning to develop and implement their own unique plans. The program is based on the flipped classroom approach, where participants will be required to review learning materials online ahead of each workshop. During each of the two workshops, participants will apply their new knowledge in a practical setting. Participants are also required to complete a virtual experience with an employer through The Forage to further develop their employability through the development of job searching and professional branding skills and knowledge.

At the completion of this program, participants should be able to:
• explain the four stages of career planning
• demonstrate practical goal-setting towards a career of choice
• recognise skills gaps and ways to fill them
• demonstrate how to promote individual skills, knowledge and experience in resumes and interviews
• increase their professionalism and work readiness.

• Delivery details: This microcredential is delivered by career professionals from Macquarie University and on campus or online.
• Volume of Learning: 20 hours (4 hours of workshops, 4-6 hours of a virtual experience, and 10-12 hours of presentation and reflection tasks).
